About Lesotho

Lesotho, a small, landlocked country in Southern Africa, faces significant challenges, particularly in the fight against HIV/AIDS. With the second highest HIV prevalence rate in the world, the epidemic has devastated families and communities, leaving over 150,000 children orphaned. Many of these vulnerable children live alone, care for their younger siblings, or reside with aging and often ailing grandparents.

The impact of HIV/AIDS extends beyond health concerns, contributing to poverty, food insecurity, and limited access to education and healthcare. Since 2005, the Bountiful Hope Foundation has transformed the lives of thousands, providing a brighter future for the people of Lesotho.
