HOPE CHANGES EVERYTHING
Celebrating 20 Years
2005-2025
Our Work
Bountiful Hope Foundation believes that education, skills training, and community empowerment are the most effective ways to combat poverty and HIV/AIDS, while equipping Lesotho’s future leaders for success.
Since 2005, the Bountiful Hope Foundation has provided annual funding to cover tuition and school fees for orphaned and vulnerable adolescents. In 2021, the BHF assumed management of a deteriorating orphanage in Semonkong, Lesotho, working to restore and improve its operations. Most recently, in 2025, a new computer and life-skills center was launched in Maseru, designed to serve both BHF program beneficiaries and the broader local community.
About Lesotho
Lesotho is a small, landlocked country in Southern Africa that faces profound socio-economic and health-related challenges. It has the second highest HIV prevalence rate globally and approximately 50% of its population lives below the national poverty line (UNICEF). An estimated 150,000 orphans and vulnerable children experience housing and food insecurity, along with limited access to education.
